Motto: Education - kids right!

My name is Jahswill Nnaemeka Kalu. I intend to promote home learning for young nursery and basic students by creating a website which offers free lectures on a few subject, songs, and rhymes.

Since I lack access to teaching materials and volunteers, what I have decided to do is to find free resources from credible online educational institutions and websites and upload them on my website for students to learn while at home during this pandemic.

Having been home for the most part of the year, I understand the challenges children face in learning at home. Thus, I created this website to assist children like me, especially those who might not be able to study online, learn new simple concepts from this website.

This website is specifically made for children, especially in lower basic and Nursery classes. It is important to know that this website is in no way sophisticated. It was built using a free service since I do not have much knowledge in web development. It is my desire, however, in the future to become a programmer, expand this website, add other functionalities, host it and turn it into the largest Nigerian educational website for kids.

What makes plants shine green?

Chlorophyll gives plants their green color because it does not absorb the green wavelengths of white light. That particular light wavelength is reflected from the plant, so it appears green. Plants that use photosynthesis to make their own food are called autotrophs.

What makes the sun shine bright?

What makes the sun so bright is its power source: a process called nuclear fusion, which yields abundant energy. The fusion reaction, along with the sun's enormous size, means it will continue to shine brightly billions of years into the future.

Why is the sun so red?

because of the smoke that people cause. When the smoke that comes out of a fire reaches the ozone layer, it helps to damage the ozone layer which make the sun shine too hard on us.

Why is a solar eclipse so rare?

A solar eclipse can only occur when the Moon is close enough to the ecliptic plane during a new moon.Total solar eclipses are rare at any particular location because totality exists only along a narrow path on the Earth's surface traced by the Moon's full shadow or umbra. An eclipse is a natural phenomenon.

Why do earthquake occur?

Earthquakes are usually caused when rock underground suddenly breaks along a fault. This sudden release of energy causes the seismic waves that make the ground shake. When two blocks of rock or two plates are rubbing against each other, they stick a little. They don't just slide smoothly; the rocks catch on each other.
